Quick Update on Princess

We are home from her surgery this morning. It was much worse than we originally expected. Her tonsils were so large and she was currently battling yet another infection. What this means is that her "scabs" (sorry, I know that is a gross word) will be much larger than normal when they begin to heal and come off (a painful stage). When we got home I began giving her the meds that were prescribed and she just wanted to lay around...she didn't fall asleep at all which surprised me. Anyway, we watched a few cartoons in the living room and then moved to my bedroom to stretch out and watch more cartoons. I went to check on her after about 15 minutes and she said, "I want a snack." I listed a few of the options she had, all to which she answered no. Then she said, "Oh. I know. I want a popsicle!" Of course we went and got that girl a popsicle from the freezer (I planned ahead and stocked up on things I thought she might want/be able to eat.) She is currently on her THIRD popsicle (Correction-now 4th one) and is sitting at her little table and watching yet even more cartoons. So for now, we are good....but I know she will be in a lot of pain for the next few days. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I will try to keep updated as much as possible for you guys.
